I heard I could make bread in a crock pot, so I gave it a try. Here is a before and after shot and the the recipe I used.


Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup warm half & half
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 whole egg
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
Directions:
- Dissolve yeast in water; combine with milk, oats, salt, oil, honey, and egg
- Add flour and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
- Place on baking sheet, put in crock, cover and bake on high for 3 hours.
